IRM JULY 2024

Updated: Sep 20

Assalamualaikum & Salam Sejahtera everyone 🙋🏻‍♂️

Alhamdulillah, many exciting programs and events have been organized by JAZRO throughout July 2024 ✨ 🥳

Now, let's look at our progress & update for July 2024 🚀🚀🚀

✅ A total of 3,068 new students have registered for our programs (the total accumulated students in our database has increased to 65,926 students).

✅ Continue to conduct Bengkel Asas Robotik, Robotic Demonstration & Trial Class at East and Central Region to spread more knowledge of robotic education to the community, successfully conducted Introduction to ChatGPT classes and became one of the exhibitors at a carnival at UniKOP Cyberjaya👏🏻

✅ Organized July PAJSK program, "3D INNOVATIONS IN RACING CAR ENGINEERING'" & received 1.2+k registered participations from students around Malaysia 😱

Below are the key highlights for July 2024:-

1️⃣ MOU JAZRO x UCMI

JAZRO had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with UCMI at the City Campus in Kuala Lumpur 🤩 This collaboration aims to develop and upskill students from UCMI to become Certified Robotic Tutors. These tutors will be equipped with the latest knowledge and skills required in the IR4.0 (Industrial Revolution 4.0) era, ensuring they are well-prepared to meet the demands of the modern digital and technological landscape 🦾

The MOU represents a significant step forward in strengthening the partnership between JAZRO and UCMI 🤝 Through this collaboration, both institutions are committed to fostering an educational environment that nurtures innovation and prepares students for future challenges in the rapidly evolving field of robotics and digital technologies 🚀

The signing ceremony was held at UCMI's City Campus, underscoring the shared vision of both organizations to advance digital literacy and provide students with opportunities to excel in STEM-related fields. We hope the partnership will have a lasting impact on the students, equipping them with the expertise needed to contribute meaningfully to the industry and society 🤗

2️⃣ KARNIVAL ROBOTIK UCMI @ UCMI BATU MUDA CAMPUS

Karnival Robotik UCMI, held at the UCMI Batu Muda Campus, marked the first collaborative program following the signing of the MOU between JAZRO and UCMI University. This exciting event was organized to engage children and attract their interest in robotics and coding through a variety of fun and educational activities 🎪

With nearly 1k+ visitors attending the event, the carnival exceeded expectations in terms of both participation and engagement 😱 Children and their families not only had fun but also gained valuable knowledge of robotics and coding. Among the highlights were Jazro Robosoccer, where children could experience the thrill of soccer with robots, and Bengkel Asas Robotik, a hands-on robotics workshop aimed at beginners 🤖 The event also included Robot Race Time, which added an element of friendly competition, and free Robotic Therapy Session for our special need visitors 🤗

Karnival Robotik UCMI is more than just a one-off event; it represents the beginning of a fruitful partnership between Jazro and UCMI 🥰 We hope this carnival is a jumpstart for future collaborative programs aimed at inspiring the next generation to delve deeper into the fields of robotics and digital technology 🤩

3️⃣ Virtual Robotic Challenge 2024

Virtual Robotic Challenge 2024 (VRC), was an online event that brought together over 600+ students from across Malaysia to showcase their coding skills 🤩 This competition challenged participants to solve coding missions using VR Vex Code, providing a new platform for students to apply their knowledge in a virtual environment 🦾

The VRC was divided into three categories—Upper Primary, Lower Secondary, and Upper Secondary—with each category featuring missions of varying difficulty to match the participants' skill levels. This structure ensured that students from different educational stages could compete on an even playing field, making the challenge both accessible and appropriately challenging 🤖

At the end of July, the winners of the competition were announced, receiving cash prizes and Jazro voucher classes as rewards for their outstanding achievements 🥳 VRC not only sparked a spirit of competition but also encouraged students to deepen their understanding of coding and robotics in a fun and engaging way 🤗 We are committed to promote digital literacy and nurture the next generation of tech-savvy leaders, please pray for our success 🤲🏻

4️⃣ ARDUINO CLASS @ KHALIFAH MODEN SEPANG

Jazro recently conducted a series of Arduino classes at Khalifah Moden in Sepang, entrusted with introducing students to this microcontroller's fundamentals. There were more than 50+ students, eager to learn the world of electronics and coding 🖥

Throughout the sessions, students were guided through the basics of Arduino, including an understanding of its electrical components. They also learned to use tools like Tinkercad and the Arduino editor, which are essential for designing and programming their projects. The highlight of these lessons was the successful creation of a simple fairy light circuit, giving students hands-on experience in building functional electronic projects 🔧

By the end of the classes, students were equipped with the basics and could push their creativity further. They started on their innovation projects, including a bank coin counter, a smart irrigation system, and a solar-powered car 🚗 These projects demonstrated the students' ability to apply their new skills to real-world challenges, encouraging a deeper interest in the fields of coding and technology 😎

We hope that these classes will inspire students to continue exploring and developing their skills in technology, potentially leading them to pursue further studies or careers in this field 😍 The success of the Arduino classes at Khalifah Moden highlights the importance of early exposure to technology in shaping the innovators of tomorrow 🦾

5️⃣ TOT CRT JAZRO

In July, JAZRO successfully conducted Training of Trainers sessions to prepare university students from SEGI University and MAHSA University to become JAZRO Certified Robotic Tutors (CRT) 🤩 This program aimed to equip participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively teach robotics and coding, aligning with our mission to expand digital literacy.

During the training, the students were introduced to JAZRO's specialized modules, which cover essential aspects of coding and robotics 🤖The curriculum was carefully structured to provide a deep understanding of the subject matter, ensuring that the future tutors could confidently deliver the content to younger learners. After completing the instructional phase, the participants underwent an assessment to evaluate their readiness and competence as Certified Robotic Tutors 🦾

The training session saw enthusiastic participation, with over 50+ university students expressing their interest in becoming CRTs 😱 It reflects the growing interest among young adults in contributing to the field of technology education 🤩 Our efforts to train these students not only increase the number of skilled educators in robotics and coding but also pave the way for a new generation of tutors who can inspire and guide others in these critical areas of learning 🥰

🚀 The same update is also available on our corporate website:

Take care & have a great day ahead. May Allah bless you & your family. Amin 🤲🤲🤲
