Alhamdulillah, many exciting programs and events have been organized by JAZRO throughout December 2024 ✨ 🥳
Now, let's look at our progress & update for December 2024 🚀🚀🚀
✅ A total of 2429 new students have registered for our programs (the total accumulated students in our database has increased to 76,225 students) 👏🏻
✅ Continue to conduct Virtual Trial Robocode, organized Robotic Outreach Program at schools in Central region and successfully conducted Game Making Course classes and Introduction to Microbit 🤩
✅ Organized December PAJSK program, 'MENCIPTA POSTER BERTEMAKAN DESTINASI PELANCONGAN CUTI SEKOLAH' & received 450+ registered participations from students around Malaysia 😱
Below are the key highlights for December 2024:-
1️⃣ ORION STAR JAZRO AWARD 2024
The Orion Star Jazro Award 2024 marked a historic moment as it was held for the first time to celebrate and appreciate the outstanding achievements of Jazarians who have shone brightly under Jazro’s guidance 🌟 The name "Orion Star", inspired by the brightest star cluster in the Southern Hemisphere, serves as a symbolic representation of the brightest Jazarians who stand out among students across Malaysia ✨ The event aimed to recognize not just academic excellence but also values, loyalty, and active participation in robotics and coding, showcasing the diverse ways in which Jazarians excel 🦾
The highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of five prestigious awards, each with a unique purpose. The 🏆 Al Jazari Award was named after the legendary engineer and inventor Al Jazari and was awarded to Jazarians who displayed excellent attitudes and strong morals. 🏆 The Sibling Award celebrates siblings who, together, have demonstrated exceptional talent and passion for robotics under Jazro’s programs. 🏆 The Most Active Award was given to those Jazarians who consistently participated in Jazro’s classes, workshops, and competitions, showing an unwavering enthusiasm for learning. 🏆 The Loyalty Award recognized students who have been with Jazro for a long time, demonstrating their commitment to growth in the field of robotics and coding. The most prestigious honour of the evening, the 🏆 Orion Star Award, was reserved for those Jazarians who not only excelled academically and behaviorally but also participated in and achieved recognition at national and international competitions, showing the highest standards of excellence.
The event was further enriched by the official launch of the Jazro Robotic Education Entrepreneur (JAZREE) initiative 🤩 JAZREE is designed to empower individuals with the opportunity to earn income by promoting Jazro’s programs, extending the impact of robotics and coding education to even more communities 🥰 The launch received positive feedback, with attendees praising the innovative approach to creating more opportunities in the field of education and technology.
The ceremony was attended by proud parents who were delighted to witness their children’s achievements being celebrated on such a grand platform 🥳 Many expressed their pride and joy in seeing their children excel, while also appreciating Jazro’s continued efforts to nurture young talent. The event ran seamlessly, creating an inspiring atmosphere for both the awardees and the attendees 🤩
We hope that the Orion Star Jazro Award will become an annual tradition, a stepping stone toward greater recognition and celebration of talent in the robotics and coding fields. Through this initiative, we aspire to motivate Jazarians to continue striving for excellence and to inspire others to follow in their footsteps 👣 With this award, we envision a bright future for its students, encouraging them to shine like the Orion Star and make significant contributions to the world of technology and innovation 🚀
2️⃣ MakeX International Robotics Competition 2024 (Global Final)
Jazro proudly participated in the MakeX International Robotics Competition 2024, held from December 5th to 8th in Shenzhen, China. Representing Malaysia on the global stage, the delegation, including 10 Jazarians, started on this journey with high spirits and enthusiasm ✈️ Competing in the MakeX Inspire Smart Logistics category, the team showed their skills alongside hundreds of participants from various countries.
The proudest moment of Jazro's delegation was the performance of 2 Jazarians, Muhammad Adam Mikhael bin Azziddin and Puteri Qayreen Sofea binti Azziddin who earned the prestigious Skill Master Award 🏆🥳, placing them in the top 20 among the international participants in MakeX Inspire Smart Logistics category 👏🏻 This achievement brought immense pride to the Jazro community, showcasing their talent and commitment to excellence 🤩
We hope this success will inspire other Jazarians to strive harder and aim for greater heights in future competitions 🚀 The experience not only celebrated the team's accomplishments but also reinforced the values of perseverance and innovation that lie at the core of Jazro's mission 🤗
3️⃣ JAZRO ROBOTIC CAMP
Jazro’s Robotic Camp made a return in December, in conjunction with the school holidays to engage students across Malaysia 🤩 The robotic camp was organized both in physical and virtual mode, ensuring they didn’t miss out on the exciting learning opportunities 🦾 The program aimed to inspire young learners to discover their interests in technology, coding, and robotics through diverse and engaging sessions.
The virtual camp featured several courses, including Game Making, Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Students, Game Making & Scratch Course, Virtual Robot Coding, and Canva & Creative Poster Making while the physical sessions courses included Mbot Robotic and Roblox Coding, and Drone Simulation. These sessions provided a comprehensive introduction to various aspects of technology and creativity, allowing participants to explore new tools and ideas in a fun and interactive way 😍 Alhamdulillah, 130+ enthusiastic students from all corners of Malaysia participated 🥳 Jazro's certified robotic tutors ensured the sessions were enjoyable and educational, applying interactive teaching methods to keep the students engaged 🤖
Jazro Robotic Camp successfully created a space for young minds to explore their potential in technology, robotics, and digital creativity 🤖💡 We hope that this experience will ignite lasting interest among participants, motivating them to explore deeper into the world of coding and robotics in the future 🤗
4️⃣ TRAINING OF TRAINERS (TOT) CERTIFIED ROBOTIC TUTOR
JAZRO successfully conducted Training of Trainers sessions to prepare university students from MAHSA University to become JAZRO Certified Robotic Tutors (CRT) 🤩 This program aimed to equip participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively teach robotics and coding, aligning with our mission to expand digital literacy.
During the training, the students were introduced to JAZRO's specialized modules, which cover essential aspects of coding and robotics 🤖The curriculum was carefully structured to provide a deep understanding of the subject matter, ensuring that the future tutors could confidently deliver the content to younger learners. After completing the instructional phase, the participants underwent an assessment to evaluate their readiness and competence as Certified Robotic Tutors 🦾
The training session saw enthusiastic participation, with over 30+ university students expressing their interest in becoming CRTs 😱 It reflects the growing interest among young adults in contributing to the field of technology education 🤩 Our efforts to train these students not only increase the number of skilled educators in robotics and coding but also pave the way for a new generation of tutors who can inspire and guide others in these critical areas of learning 🥰
