Alhamdulillah, many exciting programs and events have been organized by JAZRO throughout April 2024 ✨ 🥳
Now, let's look at our progress & update for April 2024 🚀🚀🚀
✅ A total of 3551 new students have registered for our programs (the total accumulated students in our database has increased to 51,402 students).
✅ Conducted Robo Ria Raya at our Academies, in conjunction with the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration, continued to conduct robotic demonstration and trial classes at schools and conducted Robotic Intensive Classes at selected schools 👏🏻
✅ Organized our monthly online game, IOT Maze Hunt: Hunt Duit Raya in which the participants learned to use IOT while having fun hunting 'duit raya' as rewards 🤩
Below are the key highlights for April 2024:-
1️⃣ LIGHT IT UP BLUE EVENT By Jazro Inclusive Education (JAZIN)
The "Light It Up Blue!" event is a 2-day celebration dedicated to supporting and engaging children with autism through a series of fun and educational activities 🤩 This inclusive event is curated to provide an enriching experience for autistic children, featuring a variety of interactive and sensory-friendly activities. Hosted at Galeri Petronas, KLCC, this event has successfully attracted over 60 participants from numerous therapy centres, showcasing a strong community commitment to fostering an inclusive environment 🥳
Organized by Jazro Inclusive Education (JAZIN) and Jazro, in collaboration with Petronas Innovation Garage (PING), Galeri Petronas, and the Petronas Young Professional Club (YPC), Light It Up Blue! stands as a testament to the power of corporate and community partnership 💪🏻 The event was officiated by Puan Suzana bt Che Mat, the Head of Diversity and Inclusion at GHRM Petronas, underlining the significance of diversity and inclusion within the community 👫
The event featured a diverse lineup of exhibitors including Carexera, Leticia, EF School, Thrive Well, Petrosains, and Kidcare. These partners played a crucial role in enriching the experience for attendees, providing valuable resources and support 🤝 Among the engaging activities offered were Robosoccer, Arts attack, and Treasure hunt, each designed to captivate and stimulate the minds of young participants, fostering both fun and learning 🤩
Light It Up Blue! exemplifies JAZRO's dedicated effort to create a supportive and inclusive environment for children with autism, empowering them through engaging designed activities. This initiative not only highlights the importance of inclusive education but also demonstrates how collaboration between various organizations can lead to meaningful community impact 🤗
2️⃣ MALAYSIA MADANI ROBOSOCCER COMPETITION
The Malaysia Madani Robotics Challenge 2024, a 2-day event, brought together nearly 100 students from across Malaysia, showcasing the nation's talent in robotics and innovation 🤖 Jazro, in collaboration with UPSI's Media, Publicity, and Public Relations executive committee, spearheaded this exciting competition aimed at fostering interest and skills in robotics among young learners 💪🏻
Participants, ranging from primary to secondary school students, competed in a variety of categories designed to test their creativity, problem-solving abilities, and technical prowess. The challenges included Robo Sumo, where robots face off in a test of strength and strategy; Robo Track Mission, which requires precise navigation and programming skills; and Robosoccer, combining robotics with the popular sport to engage students in a fun and competitive environment ⚽️
For higher education institutions (IPT) and the general public, the Robotic Innovation category offered a platform to showcase groundbreaking projects and innovative solutions. This segment of the event encouraged participants to push the boundaries of what is possible with robotics, highlighting Malaysia's potential in the field of technological advancement 🤩 Ir. Dzulfarqeish, our CEO was invited to be one of the judges for this category.
The Malaysia Madani Robotics Challenge 2024 not only provided a competitive arena for young roboticists but also served as a catalyst for inspiring future generations to pursue careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). Through the collaborative efforts of Jazro and UPSI, the event underscored the importance of nurturing young talent and promoting innovation as key drivers of Malaysia's progress and development in the global technological landscape 🚀
3️⃣ IT INNOVATION SHOWCASE 2024
The IT Innovation Showcase2024 event, organized by the Faculty of Engineering, Built Environment, and Information Technology at SEGi University, highlighted the creative and forward-thinking projects developed by students 🦾 This industrial exhibition served as a platform for students to present their IT innovations and new ideas to the audience, including industry professionals, academics, and the general public. The event was a celebration of the ingenuity and technical prowess of the students, offering them a chance to demonstrate their skills and receive valuable feedback 🤩
JAZRO was invited to be one of the exhibitors at the showcase. We took this opportunity to engage with the emerging talent and explore the innovative solutions being developed by the students 🤗 The event was not only a platform for exhibition but also a significant networking opportunity, allowing JAZRO to connect with industry leaders, potential employers, and peers. It was an honour to witness the birth of future IT pioneers and to be part of an event that encourages the growth and development of young talent 🚀
4️⃣ PAJSK PROGRAM: SUSTAINABILITY: GO GREEN, SAVE THE EARTH!
The JAZRO Monthly PAJSK program for April focused on the theme "Sustainability: Go Green, Save Our Earth," encouraging students to explore and promote eco-friendly practices through creative means 🌎 Participants were tasked with designing an infographic poster using Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, highlighting the importance of sustainability and environmental conservation. The program saw an impressive participation of nearly 3k students from across Malaysia, reflecting the widespread interest and commitment to the theme among young learners 🤗
The competition was divided into four categories, catering to both primary and secondary school students, ensuring that the challenge was appropriate for different age groups and skill levels. This structure provided a platform for a broad range of students to express their understanding and creativity regarding sustainability issues ♻️ The infographics created by the participants demonstrated their ability to effectively use digital tools to communicate complex environmental messages in a visually appealing and informative manner ☘️
A panel of judges, comprised of lecturers from UTeM, meticulously reviewed the submissions. The judges evaluated the entries based on criteria such as creativity, accuracy of information, and overall presentation. After thorough deliberation, the winners were announced on April 21, 2024. The selected infographics stood out for their exceptional quality, innovative approach, and clear conveyance of the sustainability message 🥳
The April edition of the JAZRO Monthly PAJSK program not only fostered a deeper understanding of sustainability among students but also equipped them with valuable skills in digital design and data presentation 🦾 By engaging young minds in such meaningful activities, JAZRO continues to inspire and educate the next generation about the critical importance of environmental stewardship and the role of technology in promoting sustainable practices 🤗
